Entrepreneur, influencer and author Sophie Cachia wasn’t expecting to purchase a home until she stepped inside and knew it was the one for her family. The only catch was that it needed a design overhaul from its tired 1990s origins.
That’s where Perth-based interior stylist Kelly Donougher came in. The two powerhouses connected over social media and their joint love of modern finishes, moody aesthetics and unmatched attention to detail with dark black tones combined with leafy greens and a touch of blue. Years later, no geographical distance could keep Sophie from utilising Kelly’s distinctive style to reimagine her family home in Melbourne.
When conceptualising the space, Novas was the perfect match for this premium aesthetic. Kelly and Sophie were drawn to Novas’ distinctive Frame Collection with its unique bezel design that tied in perfectly with the sleek, elevated vision for the home.

From the kitchen to the laundry and kid’s bathroom, the various architectural products in the Frame Collection including the kitchen mixer, shower head and wall basin set allow for seamless integrated design through the continuity of the exact colour, texture and materiality.
